Questions worth asking.
Is the first conversation free?
Yes. An initial conversation helps us understand your needs and whether we are a good fit. If paid work is needed, we explain the scope and fees before starting.
I recently moved to the U.S. Where do I begin?
Start with your arrival timeline, the places you lived and the income you received. Tax residency is determined under tax rules; it is not simply the same as your visa or immigration label. We can discuss the review your first tax year needs.
Can I speak with you in Ukrainian or Russian?
Yes. We offer conversations in English, Ukrainian and Russian. You should feel comfortable asking questions and understanding the next steps.
I have both a W-2 job and 1099 income. Can we review them together?
Yes. We look at your situation together, including employment income, independent work, relevant expenses and estimated-payment questions, instead of treating each form as a separate story.
What if I have income or bank accounts outside the U.S.?
Tell us early. Foreign income and accounts can raise separate reporting questions. We first review your facts, then confirm the support and information your situation requires.
Do I need to own a business to work with Brama Tax?
No. We work with individuals and families as well as self-employed professionals, business owners and property owners. Start with your situation, even if you are not sure which category fits.
What should I prepare, and how should I send it?
For a first conversation, bring a short outline of your situation and questions. We will explain which records are relevant. Share tax documents through the secure client portal; please do not email Social Security numbers or sensitive documents.
